“For all the bad reviews this program has received, I’m not understanding why. I’m using it at home and have yet to have a problem with it. The pro version has a lot of useful features and the price was below the the standard version! So far so good!

“Version 14 offers some improved stability over version 12. The new ribbon bar is a hassle though. With the new ribbon bar, the common functions we all used in prior versions are now scattered across various tabs on the ribbon. So far, I have not been able to find a way to consolidate the ones I use the most into a single ribbon. This alone has slowed down my daily workflow.
FYI- You can buy a full version of 14 Pro from Nuance for $80 through the end of January 2014.”
“I was not really into document scanning software at all. However, one fine day I had to realize that a good scanner is nothing without a good scanning software. I asked the guy at the IT department of my company if he could be suggesting me something good. He asked me to try Paperport and the software has been my only refuge till date. I am very happy with the working of this software. I work as a bookkeeper, so handling bills and receipts is really essential for me. As a professional there can be nothing better than this for me. ‘I have been keeping myself updated with all the document management software reviews since the past 2 months because I wanted to find a software that could do more than simply ‘saving’ my scanned documents. Come on guys, I already have a folder for that. Why would I need an extra software for doing the same? All the reviews were simply suggesting these qualities that I did not want. I came across Scansoft Paperport and thought about giving it a try. Of course, it was done as a matter of desperation because I really needed a software that could easily edit my documents.
